Marriage contract of Badr al-Nisa’ Baygum, the daughter of Mirza Muhammad al-Husayni, and Mirza Abu al-Qasim al-Husayni, the son of Mirza Muhammad Kazim al-Husayni; the mahr is one hundred tumans, including a property in Nayshabur (10 tumans), carpet (7.5 tumans), beddings (5 tumans), seven misqals [unit of weight] of red gold (3.5), 10 mans [unit of weight] of copperware (5 tumans), and a female Abyssinian slave (9 tumans).

Marriage Contract of Surur al-Saltanah and Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk, 1909
Marriage Contract of Sughra Khanum Surur al-Saltanah, daughter of Khazin al-Mulk, and ‘Abd al-Husayn Khan Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk, son of Karim Dad Khan Salar. Mahr is a copy of the Qurʼan (valued at 100 tumans), a female slave (value of 70 tumans), and one thousand and five hundred tumans cash (that was presented), as well as some properties including the related water creeks, trees, and gardens in exchange for three thousand and five hundred tumans. The above was first deeded to the groom by his father and then, the groom included it in the Mahr for his wife.

Marriage contract between Gawhar Khanum and Mirza Asad Allah, 1879
Marriage contract of Gawhar Khanum (daughter of ʻAliriza Mustawfi) with Mirza Asad Allah (son of Haji Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi) in May or June 1879. Mahr includes 100 tumans, a Qurʼan, gold (ten tumans), copper containers made in Kashan, a carpet, a qalamkar bed covering, a female Ethiopian slave (40 tumans), one third of an herb shop, part of a farm land near Savah and its water right, one sixth of a house in andaruni, and one sixth of a farm house originally belonged to the groom's father, who transfers it to Mirza Asad Allah to be included in his wife's Mahr.

The mahr is 800 tuman and includes: three shares of a garden in Herat worth of 300 tumans, pieces of land worth 100 tumans, a female slave for the wife, worth of 50 tumans, a Qurʼan worth 50 tumans, copper dishes worth 50 tumans, gold [jewelry] worth 20 tumans, and bedding and carpets worth 100 tumans. It was agreed that for 50 years after the marriage, the wife can divorce herself if the husband leaves her for more than a year...

The mahr is 60 tumans, a female slave worth 21 tumans, four sixths of a building in Fath Abad, two pieces of land in Vadasht, and a garden in Fath Abad. Marriage contract of Khayr al-Nisa’ Baygum, daughter of Mirza Muhammad Baqir (son of Muhammad Isma'il Bayg known as Aqa Babak), and Haj Muhammad Mahdi, son of Haj Muhammad Rafi‘ [illegible]. The mahr is one hundred tumans. The groom settled fifty tumans of the mahr with the bride in exchange for two sets of women clothing and part of a property in ‘Abbas Abad region of [illegible] Garm Rud. The groom additionally promised to pay for ten mans [unit of weight] of copperware, ten misqals [unit of weight] of golden jewelry, and an Abyssinian female slave for the bride and ask nothing in exchange.

Marriage contract of Malik Sultan Khanum (Shirin Jan Khanum), daughter of Fath‘ali Shah, and Mahdi Quli Khan, son of Husayn Khan Sardar Qazvini. The sidaq (mahr) is 1500 tumans in cash, gold, silver, jewelry, several properties, three male slaves, and three female slaves.

Marriage contract between Tarlan Khanum, the daughter of Haji ʻAbd al-Rahim, and Muhammad Baqir Khan Afshar, the son of Sarkhvush Khan, date June 23, 1862. The mahr includes part of the Kukah Kharaqan village in Qazvin, possession of which the bridegroom's father transferred to the bridegroom, one hundred tumans, and two Abyssinian slaves, one male and one female, who were each valued at 25 tumans.
